Revox® HE - Efficient hybrid module for marine propulsion systems
The Revox® HE marine hybrid module combines advanced hybrid technology with proven transmission technology. Based on our successful transmission series for mobile construction machinery, the module offers an environmentally friendly solution for marine propulsion systems. The combination of diesel engine and electric motors significantly increases energy efficiency.
The diesel engine remains the main drive, but up to three auxiliary drive connections can be used to integrate electric motors or other motors with an output of up to 60 % of the main drive power.
In addition to electric motors, the Revox® HE also enables the direct connection of hydraulic pumps. The output is connected via a hydraulically switched multi-plate clutch, type Lutex® HK, which ensures a reliable and efficient drive combination.
