The Tevox® direct drive from Nidec Desch is a system solution consisting of a planetary gearbox, a safety clutch and an electric motor and is suitable for various recycling applications such as shredders and crushers. Thanks to its modular design, it offers various transmission ratios as well as mounting and connection options. The drive unit can be provided via a shrink disk in combination with a torque arm or alternatively via a flange connection with a splined or cloverleaf shaft. The Tevox® offers the option of installing single-stage or multi-stage planetary gears. The output torque range extends from 10 kNm to 400 kNm, with an output speed of 3 to 200 rpm. This energy-efficient drive solution is ideal for applications with high alternating loads and can be used as an alternative to electro-hydraulic drive systems. A wear-resistant safety clutch protects against overload due to defined slipping torques. The DESCHTorque also enables continuous torque measurement.
