Revox® HE – Efficient Hybrid Module for Marine Drives
The Revox® HE marine hybrid module combines advanced hybrid technology with proven gearbox solutions. Based on our successful gearbox series for mobile construction machinery, this module provides an environmentally friendly solution for ship propulsion systems. By integrating diesel engines and electric motors, energy efficiency is significantly enhanced.
The main drive is powered by a traditional diesel engine, while up to three auxiliary drive connections allow for the integration of electric or other motors with up to 60% of the main drive’s power output.
In addition to electric motors, the Revox® HE also enables direct connection of hydraulic pumps. The output is engaged via a hydraulically actuated multi-disc clutch, Lutex® HK, ensuring a reliable and efficient drive combination.
