In places where unrestricted energy availability is essential, such as hospitals, swimming pools or data centres, so-called gensets (diesel or gas-powered) are used. Nidec DESCH genset gearboxes play a central role here by adjusting the generator speed. This allows customers to operate 50 Hz motors in the 60 Hz network without any problems, which enables flexible utilisation.
