CNC Gear Cutter (m/f/d)

As a Gear Cutter (m/f/d) at Nidec DESCH, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC-controlled gear cutting machines. Your tasks will include programming and setting up the machines with Siemens controls, carrying out the machining processes including test runs and monitoring and optimizing the production processes. You will carry out production-related quality checks and ensure that all specifications are met precisely.

Your tasks:

Setting up and operating CNC-controlled gear machining machines.
Programming and setting up modern CNC machines with Siemens controls.
Planning and executing the setup and machining process on the machines, including test runs.
Monitoring and optimising manufacturing processes.
Conducting in-process quality inspections.

Requirements:

You have completed vocational training as a Cutting Machine Operator (m/f/d) or a similar qualification.
You have several years of experience working with CNC-controlled machines.
You have a good understanding of technical drawings.
You are willing to work in shifts (3-shift system).
