For even higher gear ratios and coaxial design, a 2-stage Servox® Z drive is ideal. Based on the Servox® E drive, another planetary gear is flanged to the output of the first gear stage. This design allows maximum torques of up to 2,500 kNm and maximum gear ratios greater than i = 65 to be achieved. Ultimately, the decisive factors are the desired output speed, torque and speed of the available servo motors.
