The Planox® clutch type PT protects the drivetrain by precisely limiting the torque. The permanently pre-tensioned pressure springs generate a defined slip torque that effectively protects the driveline in the event of overload: If the set torque is exceeded during operation, the clutch slips, preventing damage. Wear is automatically compensated for by the pressure springs and can be readjusted if necessary. This clutch is ideal for demanding applications in drive technology.
