A defined torque is generated by the permanently pre-tensioned compression spring columns. If the set torque is exceeded during operation, the Planox® clutch of the PT type slips and thus protects the drivetrain from damage. Any wear that occurs is automatically compensated for by the compression springs and can also be readjusted if necessary.
